Cookie policy

1. The cookies we set

cart — a random identifier that lets the store remember what you put in your cart between pages. It contains no information about you, it is not linked to your identity, and it expires 24 hours after it is set or when you complete an order. It is strictly necessary for the store to function, which is why it does not require consent under the cookie rules that apply to us.

__Host-purchase-… — the purchase-session cookie on the payment page. It holds a random key that lets the page continue your checkout and show the payment result; scripts cannot read it, and it expires after 30 days. It is strictly necessary for payment.

2. What we store on your device without a cookie

Language preference and light or dark appearance are kept in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device, are never transmitted to us, and are cleared when you clear your browser data.

Neither of these is used to recognise you. If you switch browsers, the site simply asks again — that is the expected behaviour, not a fault.

On the payment page, browser storage holds a random visitor identifier (up to 90 days) and a visit identifier (for the duration of the visit) for the checkout statistics described in our Privacy Policy.

3. What we do not set

No analytics cookies. No advertising or retargeting pixels on the store's pages. No social media buttons that load third-party code. No session recorders or heat maps. No A/B testing tools.

The store's pages load no scripts, fonts or images from a third-party domain; everything they need is served from noltrasoft.com.

4. Cookies at checkout

When you move to the payment page, our payment processor may set its own cookies, which are necessary for it to take a payment securely and to run its fraud checks. Those cookies are set by the processor on its own domain and are governed by its cookie notice, which is linked from the payment page. We have no access to them.

The AppLovin pixel. If, when you went to payment, your browser passed on an AppLovin ad click ID or the AppLovin pixel's _axwrt cookie from the product's website, after payment the payment page loads AppLovin's scripts in an isolated frame to report the purchase to AppLovin. The frame cannot read the payment page, its cookies or its storage, but AppLovin may use its own cookies on its applovin.com domain under its privacy policy.

5. Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the cart cookie means the store cannot remember your selections, but you can still browse the site and you can still order by writing to support@noltrasoft.com.

You can delete AppLovin's cookies and turn them off for applovin.com in your browser settings, and a browser extension that stops AppLovin's scripts from loading turns the pixel off entirely. If the site shows a choice about cookies, declining there also turns the pixel off.
